Session Goals:The goal of the presentation is to familiarize the participants with the advantages of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring as a means to diagnose and study hypertension.
Learning Objectives:- Learn the indications and usage of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring in diagnosing and managing out-of-office hypertension
- Learn the features and prognostic implications of blood pressure variability and diurnal variation as revealed by ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
- Learn how ambulatory blood pressure monitoring may facilitate hypertension research
